Iris are supporting a Birmingham based marketing and creative agency nestled in the heart of Birmingham. We're on the hunt for a dedicated Studio Manager to spearhead their project prioritisation and resource management. With a clientele spanning an array of industries, you'll be the glue that will be at the forefront of delivering cutting-edge branding, strategy, and tech solutions.
  
As the Studio Manager, you will be at the heart of the studio and be fully up to speed with how the projects are progressing, identifying any gaps in advance and improvements needed so that programmes of work can be delivered efficiently.Collaborating closely with Client Services, Creative, and Technology departments, you'll ensure seamless coordination and fulfilment of client requirements.
  
We're seeking someone with a keen understanding of agency workflows, adept at juggling resource demands and deadlines with finesse. Your responsibilities will include utilising key tools and software for resource management, resolving conflicts, and orchestrating weekly resource planning. Additionally, you'll scope resources for contracts in tandem with the Account Management team and oversee the execution of creative briefs while upholding operational processes.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Efficiently manage resources utilising specialised tools and software.
  • Balance workloads, resolve resource conflicts, and conduct weekly resource planning.
  • Collaborate with the Account Management team to scope resources for contracts.
  • Oversee the checking and monitoring of creative briefs, ensuring adherence to processes.
  • Facilitate freelance and specialist bookings, raise POs, and seek necessary approvals.
  • Coordinate third-party production support, which could include Video, VR/AR, development or other relevant partners for projects where in-house resources are not available.
  
Skills/Experience:
  • Experience of working in a similar role within an agency environment including delivery manager or studio manager.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in project planning and resource planning and management.
  • Proactive self-starter with a strong team mentality.
  • Familiarity with working with Kanban and Scrum environments.
